Description

As the Manager of Labour Relations and HRIM, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8-10 people, including establishing and leading implementation of Branch plans, setting performance objectives, evaluating individual and team performance, coaching and supporting the team, and managing the Branch budget.

You will play an active role on the HR Management Team, supporting current HR operational stabilization initiatives and developing a more strategic HR Department focused on building a high performing workforce in the organization. This includes establishing and developing centres of excellence that support HR’s regulatory and compliance roles while increasing HR’s focus on solving problems, providing customer solutions, and building the capacity and capability of organizational managers in human resources management.

Initially focused on the Labour Relations Branch and 2010 collective bargaining, you will also develop the HRIM Branch, building on current capabilities to enhance significantly the information provided to support Departmental strategy and support effective decision-making in the organization as a whole.
